An interactive happening that took place on the rose compass at the foot of the Williamsburg bridge. Friends and passersby were invited to sit and create a large-scale chalk drawing as an act of gratitude. They were greeted with handmade offerings filled with lavender that were worn around the neck. Loose lavender was also sprinkled throughout the happening to open the heart and quiet the mind. The interaction was documented through the eyes of the participants using four disposable cameras that were initially placed at each of the four corners of the blanket.
